Kevin Carney

Medical Doctor with Chicago Dept. of Health’s Mobile Clinic


Kevin Carney is a Chicago native with a lifelong interest in the life sciences which led to a M.Sc. degree in parasitology and medical entomology at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine followed by a medical degree from Loyola University Chicago. Now working with Chicago homeless people in the Chicago Dept. of Health’s Mobile Clinic. Regular contributor to the TWiP podcast (This Week in Parasitism) and obligatory studio assistant to Mary Lou Zelazny by virtue of being her spouse.
