Kate serves as Editor for the Center's Questions for a Resilient Future. She received her BA in anthropology with minors in environmental studies and global health, culture, and society from Emory University, where she worked with Dr. Peter Brown. Before joining the Center, Kate worked for Yale University's Human Relations Area Files. She holds an editing certificate from the University of Chicago.
Kate's primary interests include anthropology, ethology, and ecology. She is particularly concerned with the intersection of human and nature's health and wellbeing. When not at her desk, Kate can be found volunteering with the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors or sharing her passion for biomechanics and movement as a Pilates instructor.
