If the results of rewilding and de-extinction are calculated relatively accurately, we should go all the way with whatever techniques and experiments we possibly can.
Whenever I think about rewilding, I think back to the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone Park. I'm sure you are familiar with this. Wolves had been absent from Yellowstone for a long time and conditions were poor with the uncontrollably high elk populations. When scientists brought the wolves back, the elk population became more in control and that started a domino effect that brought back a wide variety of species and even altered the course of the river. The more life we create and the greater the biodiversity, the better it is for us and the planet, and I will do what I can to be a part of that.
