Curt Meine Speaks at Earth Day Celebration at UW-Madison

Director of Conservation Biology and History, Curt Meine, spoke at the Earth Day Celebration held by UW-Madison’s Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies on April 21.  Curt Meine spoke alongside Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Margaret Atwood, Bill Cronon, Tia Nelson, and many other distinguished environmental thinkers. The first Earth Day, held on April 22, 1970, was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin.
