North American Global Responsibilities Annual Symposium

This year’s symposium will bring together our regional and international partners to discuss, “A Chicago Earth Charter? A New Vision of Chicago Regional and Global Responsibilities.” This theme will speak directly to the question of what kind of faith will be required to rebuild Chicago so that it is sustainable and just, as well as how that faith might draw upon, and contribute to, the vision expressed in the international Earth Charter. This symposium will also provide representatives of Chicago-area faith groups an opportunity to grow in their understanding of regional conservation concerns. This will be the fourth in a series of conferences affirming Strachan’s wish to hold an international meeting with a regionally-relevant global ethics theme each year at Windblown Hill.
