Francis Kline Memorial Lectures at Mepkin Abbey
Initiated in 2008, the Francis Kline Memorial Lecture Series will continue on April 23rd and 24th of 2009. The 2009 topics are: 1) Spiritual environmental ethics from different religious traditions - Christian (including Roman Catholic, mainline and evangelical Protestantism), Buddhist, Judaism, Baha’i and 2) Gullah spiritual involvement with the Earth from those who work in/with nature, e.g. fishermen, basket makers, farmers, trappers, crabbers, oystermen. A series of papers from this symposium will be published (with author permission) in Minding Nature.
