CHN Partners in Lords of Nature Film Screening and Panel Discussion
Ideas of Humans and Nature, Advancing the Land Ethic, Regional Cultures of Conservation,February 12th, 2010

On Wednesday, April 14, CHN and partners will offer a free public screening of the Lords of Nature: Life in a Land of Great Predators at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. A wine and cheese reception will take place at 5:30 pm, followed by the film screening at 6:00 pm. A panel discussion will take place from 7:00-8:30 pm, moderated by Dr. Joel Brown, Leading Urban Ecologist, Professor of Biology and Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. CHN’s Director of Conservation Biology and History, Curt Meine, will be among the panel speakers. Partner organizations for the event include Green Fire Productions, Center for Neighborhood Technology, The Field Museum, Chicago Wilderness, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.
