Center Staff Bruce Jennings Publishes New Article on the Concept of Nature

Bruce Jennings, Director of Bioethics has published a chapter in a new book The Ideal of Nature: Debates bout Biotechnology and the Environment, edited by Gregory E. Kaebnick and published by The Johns Hopkins University Press. The essay explores the relationship between the ideas of nature, culture, and humanness in the work of social contract political theorists. It considers new ways to draw upon the concept of nature in ethical and public policy discussions.
