Ideas of Humans and Nature, Humans, Nature, and Democracy: Ecological Political Economy

April 15th, 2010

On April 9th CHN Director of Bioethics, Bruce Jennings, spoke at the Spring 2010 Environmental Law and Policy Conference at the University of Michigan Law School. The theme of the conference was environmental law and economics, and Jennings was part of a panel devoted to ecological economics. He addressed the governance of a sustainable economy and the prospects for democracy in meeting the challenges of climate change.  Working with CHN Senior Scholar, Peter Brown, Jennings leads the Center’s Humans, Nature, and Democracy Project: Ecological Political Economy.
